PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE - CITY OF LONE OAK TEXAS COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT PROGRAM
In accordance with Texas Administrative Code, Title 4, Part 1, Section 30.7 City of Lone Oak will hold a public hearing at
7:00 pm on February 17, at 115 Town Square, Lone Oak, Texas 75453 regarding the submission of an application to the Texas Department of Agriculture for one or more Texas Community Development Block Grant Program (TxCDBG) grants for Program Years 2025-2026. City of Lone Oak may be eligible to participate in the Community Development Fund, the Colonia Fund Construction Program and/or the Downtown Revitalization Program. The purpose of this meeting is to allow citizens an opportunity to discuss the citizen participation plan, the development of local housing and community development needs, the amount of TxCDBG funding available, all eligible TxCDBG activities, and the use of past TxCDBG funds. The City encourages citizens to participate in the development of TxCDBG application(s) and to make their views known at this public hearing. Citizens unable to attend this meeting may submit their views and proposals to Cara Forgy, City Secretary at 903-662-5116 or at City Hall. Persons with disabilities that wish to attend this meeting should contact City Hall to arrange for assistance. Individuals who require auxiliary aids or services for this meeting should contact City Hall at least two days before the meeting so that appropriate arrangements can be made. De acuerdo con el Código Administrativo de Texas, TÃtulo 4, Parte 1, Sección 30.7, la Ciudad de Lone Oak llevará a cabo una audiencia pública a las 7:00 pm on Febrera 17, en con 115 Town Square, Lone Oak, Texas 75453 respecto a la presentación de una solicitud al Departamento de Agricultura de Texas para una o más subvenciones del Programa de Subvenciones en Bloque para el Desarrollo Comunitario de Texas (TxCDBG) para el Año Programático 2025-2026. La Ciudad de Lone Oak podrÃa ser elegible para participar en el Fondo de Desarrollo Comunitario, el Programa de Construcción del Fondo para Colonias y/o el Programa de Revitalización del Centro Urbano. El propósito de esta reunión es permitir que los ciudadanos tengan la oportunidad de discutir el plan de participación ciudadana, el desarrollo de las necesidades locales de vivienda y desarrollo comunitario, la cantidad de fondos disponibles de TxCDBG, todas las actividades elegibles de TxCDBG y el uso de fondos anteriores de TxCDBG. La Ciudad anima a los ciudadanos a participar en el desarrollo de la(s) solicitud(es) TxCDBG y a dar a conocer sus puntos de vista en esta audiencia pública.
